Position Description:
The LBMX Pay will help define and refine the processes for making payments and work to streamline the process within a supply chain network. It includes purchase to pay, automated AP and AR. It also includes solutions for central billing/payments for buying groups.
The successful candidate must possess superior verbal and written communication skills and be committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will also have strong people and organizational skills and be comfortable as an effective member of a productive team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and communicating a clear product strategy and roadmap for both the legacy products (EFT Payments – Pay), and new product lines, including private | public Marketplaces and the LBMX Supply Cloud
- Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, the Development Team, designated Business Owner, and other internal staff and customers to help guide the direction of Documents and Pay
- Clearly outlining Scopes of Work, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions; assisting with questions that arise during the Functional Specification Document (FSD) process
- Planning and implementing product launches; creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and the project team
- Directly influencing product direction based on constructive feedback received from all sources
- Collaborating with internal departments with regard to training materials, and making sure the implementation team has all relevant information for launching and supporting products
- Managing and tracking the status of customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforcing and redefining as necessary
- Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements—verbally or through written documentation—to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders
- Coaching, training, and briefing internal staff and performing product demonstrations
Requirements:
- Post-secondary College or University Education; product management certificates or courses are a plus
- Three or more years’ experience in a customer service environment, e.g., support, account management, project management, or sales
- Ability to explain products, features, and functionality with technical accuracy and simplicity
- Superior interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational ability, and comfortable acting as an effective member of a high-performance team
- Experience managing client and internal stakeholder expectations in a SaaS organization that maintains servers, databases, and software that allows these applications to be accessed over the Internet
- Comfortable calling and speaking with clients; using their feedback and market data to identify areas for improvements.
- Preferred: Experience with fintech applications regarding payment solutions that integrate with banking institutions as well as banking API’s
